The Southern Illinois University Carbondale Chapter of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ) is a student-led organization dedicated to supporting Black students pursuing careers in journalism, media, and communications. As an extension of the national NABJ, our mission is to empower, educate, and connect students with opportunities that foster professional growth and success in the media industry.
We meet every Thursday from 5:30-6:30 PM in the Communications Building basement, New Media Lab, Room 9A. Join us to network, learn, and gain hands-on experience in the media world!
